The main reason you have orthodontics on your children is crowding of their teeth when the are 9-12 years old. If we see their permanent front teeth coming in crowded ( at6-7 yrs.old), we can place expansion appliances in their mouth and grow the bone they need to accept their permanent teeth without having to extract permanent teeth. We have been using this technique for 30 years and have had to extract permanent teeth on a rare occasion. Most of the kids are finished before they would have started at the conventional orthodontic office. For more information you can call either my Anderson office (765-649-3388) or my Fishers office (317-578-1933).
